1. Booking and Payment


1.1.    To secure a booking spot for one of our delectable cakes, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order amount must be made at the time of booking. This deposit ensures that your order is reserved for the specified date and time. 


1.2. The remaining 50% of the order amount must be paid in full before the scheduled pickup date. Failure to make the full payment may result in the cancellation of your order.


1.3. Payments can be made through the methods specified on our website. We use secure payment gateways to protect your financial information.

2. Order Pickup**

2.1. Orders are to be picked up at the designated pickup location specified during the booking process.


2.2. It is your responsibility to pick up your order at the agreed-upon date and time. If you are unable to pick up your order on time, please contact us as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.

3. Care and Responsibility**

3.1. Marissa's Cakes takes utmost care in caring and packaging your orders to ensure their quality and freshness.


3.2. Once your order has been picked up from our premises, Marissa's Cakes assumes no responsibility for any damage, deterioration, or incidents that may occur during transportation, handling, or storage. We strongly recommend that you exercise caution and handle your order with care to maintain its integrity.

4. Changes and Cancellations


4.1. Changes to your order details, such as flavors, sizes, and decorations, can be made up to 1 week before the pickup date.


4.2. Cancellations made before 1 week of the order date may be eligible for a partial refund. The deposit amount is non-refundable.

At Marissa's Cakes, we take immense pride in crafting your cake. To ensure that your cake remains as delightful as the moment you received it, we've put together some essential Rps on how to care for and handle your cake.

Storage Tips:


1. Cool and Dry: Store your cake in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Extreme temperatures can affect the texture and appearance of your cake.


2. Refrigeration: If your cake is not going to be eaten within an hour of receiving it, we advise that you keep your cake in the fridge and take it out approximately 1 hour before cutting and serving.

 

Transportation Tips:


1. Steady Surface: Place your cake on a flat, stable surface in your vehicle. A non-slip mat or towel can help prevent movement during transportation.

 

2. Secure Seating: If you're using a passenger seat, ensure the cake is secured with a seatbelt or other restraint to prevent sliding.


3. Level Transport: Keep the cake level to avoid shifting or tilting during transit. Sharp turns or sudden stops can cause damage.


4. Cool Transport: In warmer weather, consider use the air conditioning in your vehicle to maintain a cooler temperature for the cake.

1. Support the base When handling the cake, please ensure to hold the cake from the bottom to avoid your cake falling through the box.
